The Bus Shelter Dorset is a Charity to end the need for anyone to sleep rough in Dorset. The bus is going to be based in Weymouth and will provide up to 20 beds for rough sleepers to sleep safely and off the streets. Rough sleepers will be supported with their life skills, benefits, health and housing by volunteers on the bus.  The bus itself will be renovated to include up to 20 sleeping pods for guests upstairs and downstairs. There will be an area for volunteers to sleep, a consultation area, kitchen, wood burner and seating area. Students from the Sixth Form, Ringstead and Wyke have been involved with making the frames for the beds. To watch a time lapse video of a bed being made go to:
