Westfield has an active Student Voice (sometimes known as a School Council). Democratically elected, our pupil representatives meet each month to discuss their views on school matters that affect them. Discussions range across such subjects as lunchtime menus, school uniform and arrangements for breaks and playtimes. The Student Voice is very involved in charitable fundraising and the organisation of school activities.

All pupils are asked their views on a wide range of school issues every two years in the Pupil Survey. The outcomes are published and are used to inform planning for the future.

Representatives also take part in other responsibilities, such as showing visitors around the school, representing us at events and taking part in the recruitment of new staff through interview panels.
