We are the largest of the Dorset special schools and have an impressive range of facilities to support and nurture pupils’ learning. Classrooms are well resourced and provide for pupils from Reception through Primary, Secondary and Post 16.

As well as general classroom spaces, we have subject specific rooms which provide pupils with a high quality learning environment. These include a Science laboratory, Design Technology workshop, IT and computing room, a music room, an art studio, a large drama studio and sports hall.

Additionally, we have a well-resourced library, teaching space for English and Maths, sensory and soft play rooms, a sensory garden and working allotment (which includes an outdoor caving simulator!). These spaces complement our ‘Broadening Horizons’ mission to give our pupils the widest range of experiences that we can.
