Staff fundraising for Breast Cancer
A small group of Westfield staff are taking on the London Moonwalk on the 16th May to raise vital funds and awareness for Breast Cancer. The London Moonwalk is the same route as the London Marathon, 26.2 miles. However to add further challenge, the event starts at midnight! Happy 1st Birthday Angus
Happy 1st birthday Angus! Our beautiful therapy dog turned 1 on Sunday. He loves it in school and pupils love spending time with him.
Opening of our new active play space
We are very pleased that we can finally open our new active play space which is called The Grove. There have been a few delays in fitting it out but we are very pleased with the results. We now have a wonderful new space for pupils which includes soft play, a sensory integration swing and an interactive projector. We know they are going to love it! [...]

50th anniversary celebration
Today marks the 50th anniversary of Westfield and we have had a wonderful time celebrating with our pupils. It's been a lot of fun seeing everyone in their costumes and they have done some great 70s activities. Happy anniversary – Westfield turns 50!
Westfield is 50 years old!! Happy anniversary to us. We officially opened on March 26th 1976. The opening was attended by JD Thorpe, the fist Head Teacher and special guest Colonel Sir Joseph Weld OBE. Back to the 70s!
Next week we celebrate 50 years of Westfield. We officially opened on 26th March 1976. As part of our celebrations we are going back to the 70s next week, with 70s themed curriculum, activities and school dinner. We will be having a party in May and inviting families, past pupils and staff. More details coming shortly...
Toy and book sale
