Wishing all our pupils and their families a very enjoyable summer. We reopen for pupils on Thursday 3rd September.

Mrs Salina had a great idea for all the golf balls she has collected on walks with her dog! We are so grateful for their generosity and impressed by their stamina! Last week we held our annual Art Exhibition, showcasing work from pupils across the school. Thank you to those who came to view it and leave comments. We hosted a visit this afternoon from Georgia Gould, Minister for School Standards at the DfE, and Lloyd Hatton MP. They looked at our provision for pupils and spoke to a group of staff about all things SEND. It was a pleasure to welcome them to Westfield.

We enjoyed a great Sports Day and Summer Fayre yesterday. Thank to everyone who came along to support pupils and help us raise some money. Big thanks to Mr Dailey and the PAPS team for organising everything and Mr Hart for the wonderful Art Exhibition. Well done to all involved, especially our pupils. Today we said goodbye to our Year 11 and Sixth Form leavers. We had a celebration with family members and reflected on all the things our students have achieved over their years at Westfield. We are immensely proud of them and wish them all the very best for the future.  

Earlier this term we entered the Schools Choir Competition 2026 organised by Jackdaws Music Education Trust. Our Kaleidoscope Choir recorded two songs for the competition and we're delighted to have been awarded the GOLD prize of £200 towards our music department. Comments from the judges mentioned the students' great ensemble skills, accuracy and precision, good use of body percussion, and excellent engagement. We are so proud [...]

Our Year 11 leavers enjoyed a wonderful Prom last night. They all looked amazing. A big thank you to Wellworthys Sports and Social Club in Wyke Regis for hosting us and DJ Frazer for the disco which we loved. thanks also to Mandy for organising and all the staff who helped out with Prom preparation and on the night.
