Carol Craft, Debbie Brewer and Sarah Bungay are our Pupil and Parent Support (PaPS) team who work with students throughout their time at school. They also work alongside parents, carers, external agencies and school staff to ensure there is a ‘joined up’ approach between home and school. PaPS support students in a variety of ways including 1:1 sessions, building positive relationships throughout the school and community, supporting during a crisis, offering both emotional help and guidance , encouraging and promoting positive behaviour and providing a constant attachment figure for students throughout their time at Westfield.
PaPS also work with families by offering non-judgmental advice and support, providing opportunities to meet with other parent carers, enabling families to become more involved with their child’s education, home visits and the chance to talk through any concerns.
PaPS host regular coffee mornings (check website for dates) and are active members of Friends of Westfield.
