On the 8th June 12 pupils were selected to represent Westfield at the county Athletics meet which was held at Kings Park Stadium, Bournemouth. The competitor’s had to compete in both track and field events to earn points for their school. After the races and field events had finished, the schools had to perform two mixed relays in order to gain further points for the school. Throughout this event the Westfield pupils all made excellent progress and the majority of them were placed in the top three. Once the event finished the scores were tallied up and Westfield were crowned champions!! The pupils worked very hard and all of them received a gold medal. Well done Athletes.
