The work done at Westfield in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has been recognised for many years for its high quality. Ofsted reports and external awards, such as the prestigious BECTA Excellence in ICT Awards we received in 2006 and 2009, have consistently drawn attention to the outstanding range of skills in information technology that our pupils acquire during their time at the school. It is therefore a great pleasure to see this trend continuing with the recent award of the much prized ICT Mark Award. The award is given to a small number of schools who can show very high levels of pupil and staff skills in ICT. Well done to Mrs Aylott, Mr Gould and everyone involved in the delivery of ICT at Westfield!
