Dear Parents, Carers
I hope you’ve managed to have some enjoyable time with your families over Easter, though it
continues to be a very strange time for everyone.
Over the Easter period we have continued to have a small group of children and young people in
school. Although next Monday marks the end of the Easter break, we will continue to remain closed
for the majority of pupils. We will continue to offer provision for children of critical workers, those
with a social worker and a few others with significant needs. We will be working with some of you
who have particular difficulties to get your child back into school for some of the time.
I’m sure that you are very keen to have your child return to school, and we also want to get them
back as soon as possible, but we will not be fully open until the government decide it is safe for all
children to return to school. You will know from watching the news that the virus is still not at its
peak and our main concern is ensuring that everyone – pupils, families and staff – are as safe as they
can be.
In the meantime, we will be renewing the home learning resources on our website and delivering
new packs to some pupils. If you need anything or are struggling please let us know – we are here to
help and support you.
With best wishes
Seán Kretz
