On the 21st September six pupils from Westfield represented the school at the first County football festival, which was held at Poole High School. The day consisted of a mini tournament where schools would play a total of four matches against other schools, with three points for a win and one point for a draw. During these matches the pupils also received expert coaching from qualified FA coaches.
Overall the pupils from Westfield did a fantastic job and managed to win the mini tournament by 7 points. Furthermore the pupils did not lose any games and only conceded one goal during the whole day. This was down to some excellent teamwork and the enormous effort they all put in.
The man of the tournament was Dominic who showed his true quality as not only a football player but as a sportsman as well.
