The Big Draw is a national celebration of drawing to encourage people of all ages to explore ideas, express ideas, express their creativity and engage with each other. The joy of drawing as a medium for learning is that it can be done anywhere, at any time, as part of a group experience or a solitary activity. The theme this year is ‘Every picture tells a story’
On the 6th of October every student in the school produced a drawing using their name and a map of Weymouth to tell Westfield’s story. At the end of the day the work was brought together to produce a whole school collaborative piece of Art work. The students worked very hard and I’m sure you will agree the end result looks fantastic!
