VE Day picnic

Thursday 8^th May 2025 is the 80^th Anniversary of VE Day.

There will be lots of events going on around the country but we thought it would be nice to mark the day by having a lunchtime picnic to bring pupils and families together.

Parent carers are welcome to join us 12.15-1.30pm. on the school field where classes will sit together to eat.

Please bring your own picnic rug and food as we cannot cater for everyone, but there will be drinks and cakes for sale. Pupils will be given a packed lunch or bring their own in the usual way.

We will have some music of the era and we would encourage everyone to dress up if they wish, perhaps something red, white or blue?

If you would like to donate cakes to sell then please send them in with your child on the day. Parking will be available in the school bus bays.
