Following the Prime Minister’s announcement at 8pm we have made the decision to close the school to all pupils tomorrow, Tuesday 5th, so that we can have time to plan for the implications for us as a special school. All our pupils are considered vulnerable due to having an EHCP, but we need to assess how we will be affected by this national lockdown and by wider school closures which will impact on our staff team.
It is with great regret that we have made this decision and we understand how inconvenient this will be for you, but it is equally frustrating for us, having made other plans, to get this news at such short notice. We appreciate your understanding. Staff will be in school tomorrow and we will contact all parents once we have made some decisions.
