The skate park is a street course made up of various ramps and is ideal for a range of ages and abilities.
Sixth form students have begun a three week course at Westfield. This has been fully funded by West Dorset District council. Skateboards and scooters are available to use, and full instruction is given.
All of the students managed to put their balancing skills into action in the first
session, by all attempting to use the ramps either standing or sitting on the skateboards or scooters.
We are looking forward to the next session to see how their skills will improve even more!
