Westfield is recruiting for a candidate wishing to achieve a Primary PGCE via the School Direct Salaried Route. This is a school-based programme of teacher training which is offered in collaboration with University of Exeter. The successful candidate will have a structured programme of support and training to help them reach their potential .
In order to apply for the course candidates must have a relevant degree, with a classification of 2.1 or above, along with Maths and English GCSEs (or equivalent) at C+. As this is a salaried route, candidates must at the time of application demonstrate a passion for special school education and relevant experience of working with youngsters with complex learning and behavioural needs. The successful candidate, with appropriate support, will be expected to work across the primary phase and in addition have a confident ability to support outdoor education.
