As part of the race for the line competition Sandbanks designed 5 cars to race against each other. The purpose was to create discussions and lessons around Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Volunteers from RAF Yeovilton came to set up the course and fire the rocket engines. It was fun to teach and pupils enjoyed watching the rocket cars fire into action.
