residential 3residential 1Post 16 students have just enjoyed a four day residential at  Hoburne Naish holiday park in New Milton. The last four days have flown by and everyone has been great. It really has been a pleasure to take such lovely young people away. So many members of the public have praised the good behaviour of our students! The New Forest looked stunning on Friday. We were so lucky to have blue skies and winter sunshine! The photos show how much fun we had! We were going to the cinema but were unable to see the films we wanted at Tower Park as we got there too late. The pupils were disappointed but just said never mind. We will buy the films and have a film afternoon for those who want it next term. Southampton shopping centre was incredibly busy but, despite this, everyone went off to explore for a while. The girls particularly enjoyed the Build a Bear Workshop. We had a wonderful meal in the onsite restaurant and then bopped the night away at the disco. A resounding success! The holiday park itself was probably the favourite place for most of the students. Many went swimming every day and the views from the cliff top over to the Isle of Wight were stunning. We went for a walk on the first evening as the sun was beginning to set. It was very beautiful. I’d like to say a very big thank you to all our staff who worked incredibly hard over the weekend. Staff were all on duty constantly and without the good humour, vigilance and energy of Graham, Tina, Diane and Sarah the trip would not have been the success it was.residential 2
