Toy and book sale
Well done to Easton class. They raised over £330 for Smile Train with their toy and book sale. Thank you to everyone who supported it.
Young Artist competition
A big well done to Callum in Radipole class. He has won 3rd place in the Poundbury and Casterbridge Rotary Club's Young Artist Competition. Callum made a brilliant mixed media piece based on the theme of nature. He now has an Amazon voucher to spend and some lovely Art materials to enjoy!
50th anniversary preparations
Westfield turns 50 this year! This week students in KS4 and Sixth Form worked with artist Darrell Wakelam on something special to celebrate our 50 years. We will share more information over the coming months as we plan a party.
Smartphones in school
There is lots in the news about the impact of Smartphones and social media on children and young people. Dorset Council have issued a letter for parent carers to highlight the concerns and what the evidence is telling us.
