We joined a very special assembly this morning, live from the Antarctic! Organised by Picture News, we heard from explorer Robert Swan OBE and Jenny Cooke, cofounder of the 2041 Schools charity, about how special the Antarctic is, how it belongs to all of us and how we need to protect it and our Earth into the future due to the effects of climate change.
It was a wonderful experience to join live with over 5000 schools and be part of this historic event, the first time it’s ever happened.
