As part of our learning, a small group of sixth form students decided to do some fundraising after learning all about climate change in our Environment and Community lesson. We have planned an event called #climbingfortheclimate on Wednesday 22nd January. We are raising money for Green peace. Green peace is a charity that help the environment and the people and animals effected by climate change. We will be using the school climbing wall to, as a school, climb the height of the tallest mountain in the UK. Ben Nevis is 1345 metres above sea level which means we have to climb the wall 67 times in a day in order to complete the challenge. People can help by sponsoring the students who are climbing or by donating to the day (money to office please). Thanks for your support #climbingfortheclimate team.
