In 2009 and 2013, we worked with the Dorset Parent Carer Council to gather views of parent and carers to help design and plan the future of short breaks across Dorset.
We are pleased to say that we’re doing this again and would like lots of parents, carers and young people as to complete this survey.
Dorset Council commissions a variety of short break services, which allow children and young people to have fun outside the home and give parents and carers some much-needed time to themselves.
We need to know what short breaks parents, carers, children and young people would like to see in the future, to say what’s currently working and what needs to be better. Your answers will make sure we use the limited resources and funding available to provide a range of short breaks that you (parents, carers, children and young people) want – not what others think you want.
This survey works best on tablet or PC, due to the range of questions we need to ask.
Please do take part and make sure your voices and your choices are heard.
PLUS – if you are eligible for short breaks, you could be in with a chance to win one of 10 Love2Shop vouchers for £25 usable at over 20,000 outlets. Simply fill in your details at the end of the survey to be entered into the prize draw. Find out if you’re eligible
The results from the survey will be published on dorsetcouncil.gov.uk and the Dorset Parent Carer Council’s website shortly after the survey closing date (26 July).
You can complete it online or, if you need a paper call 01305 224794.
