Today marks the 50th anniversary of Westfield and we have had a wonderful time celebrating with our pupils. It’s been a lot of fun seeing everyone in their costumes and they have done some great 70s activities.
In May (when the weather will hopefully be warm) we are having a party to celebrate and would love to see you there. It’s on Tuesday 19th May and will be a family picnic from 12.30-2.30pm where family members of our pupils are welcome to join us. During the afternoon we will also be inviting past staff and pupils to come back. The invitation is attached and we will share more details and reminders nearer the time. We’re very happy to be supported by the lovely people at Vinyl Van.
Past staff are welcome from 12.30pm. If you are an ex-Westfield pupil we’d love to see you after school has finished, from 3.30-5.30pm. There will be cake and refreshments and you will have an opportunity to have a tour of the school, which has changed a lot since 1976. It’s important that you let the school office know if you intend to come so that we can manage numbers.
If you know any past staff and pupils please spread the word.
