Blue has been the theme and pupils have created blue birds, decorated plates in a blue Delft style, been on a blue treasure hunt, dyed fabric blue in shibori workshops, used the ‘blue screen’ with Mrs Aylott, made blue Sugarcraft animals, decorated biscuits, listened to blues music and enjoyed movement and dance workshops with Rhea.
It’s been lovely to see our youngest pupils venture out and use some of the specialist classrooms. Working with different staff and visiting artists has certainly been broadening horizons. Well done everyone and thank you to staff and some of our older pupils for giving up your classrooms and being so accommodating.
We have three beautiful butterfly panels that just need a little finishing off and then they will be put on display for everyone to enjoy. Thanks to Darrell Wakelam for delivering these sessions.
Everyone had a good time!
