Students from across the whole school have just taken part in three Art enrichment days. Over the three days each class took part in a session led by local artist Darrell Wakelam. Primary and ASD specific classes produced a fishing boat scene, KS3 and ASD specific classes produced ammonite sculptures and KS4 classes and the Sixth Form produced a large scale sculpture of an Ichthyosaur skeleton fossil.
Throughout the day each class added more material to the previous groups work so this was a genuine team effort. Students worked well together, thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and produced some great work. I’m sure you will agree the end results look fantastic!
