Students from across the whole school have spent three great days working with visiting artist Darrell Wakelam. Working in 3-D using card, tape, paper mache and paint to create work all based around the theme of the Vikings. Every class was involved from across the school, with primary classes making shields. Secondary classes and the Sixth Form made Viking warriors and longboats in a stormy sea.
Pupils worked well together, thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and produced some great work. The end results look fantastic and will be displayed around school soon. Pupils should be very proud!
