As part of the Broadening Horizons curriculum, secondary students had an 
opportunity to perform at Wey Valley School, a music event organised by Chesil Education Partnership. Geof Edge is a local musician/song writer who has written a series of songs based on the theme of Kites with the words being inspired by local school children. Students attended a workshop last term and have been learning the songs in their music lessons. They have found the songs very inspiring and have enjoyed rehearsals.
Our students performed very well on the day and showed great flexibility whilst joining up with other students from the local area and coped well with all the noise and bustle that such an event involves. We are very proud of the young people that were involved with this project and they contributed to a beautiful sounding performance which parents and carers were invited to watch.
