We hope you’ve all had a good summer break with some fun and rest. It was lovely to see pupils arriving back at school today, and those joining us for the first time settled in really well this morning.
There has been a huge amount of building work over the summer which has created some super new spaces for our pupils. Our Early Years class, Fleet, is now situated in the new Lighthouse building on the corner of our site, and we’ve put in a new path on the field to get to the building.
Preston and Nothe classrooms have been extended and work is finishing off this week. Oasis class have a newly decorated classroom with great views across Preston. Our new Primary Food Technology room is also due to be completed this week, so we will share some more photos once all the work is finished. Our staff have worked really hard to get all the spaces ready and they will certainly enhance the facilities and provision that we already offer.
Also completed over the summer are the foundations for a new Sensory classroom by our playground, which is due to be built this year. This will be a fantastic provision for pupils. We’re really looking forward to the new school year and lots more exciting developments.
