On Friday 27th September, Lulworth Class had a visit from David Gibbs, Operations Executive from the Prince’s Trust. This was to kick-start Lulworth’s involvement in the new Prince’s Trust ‘Achieve’ programme. It is designed for young people and is a flexible provision that gives pupils the opportunity to develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in education. From improving attainment, personal and social skills and engagement with education, Achieve helps young people to develop healthy habits, which have long helped young people of school age to reach their potential, both in education and in their future employment. The programme offers a qualification in ‘Personal Development & Employability Skills’ with our initial focus on achieving an Entry Level 3/Level 1 qualification in ‘Teamwork’ and ‘Interpersonal and Self-Management Skills’.
