A team of experienced staff from Westfield work to support staff in mainstream schools with an aim to increasing that school’s capacity to meet the needs of individual students with SEN.
We have worked in over 40 different schools across Dorset and the support also includes opportunities for mainstream staff to visit Westfield and see strategies and approaches in practice.
The coordination of outreach across Dorset is through TADSS, working in partnership with Dorset Council. If a school is interested in receiving support the first step is to complete an Outreach request
