This week the whole school celebrated the Big Draw. The Big Draw is a national festival which promotes drawing in its broadest sense within schools. This year the theme was ‘Play’.
During the day every class in the school had the opportunity to come to the Art room and ‘play’ with paint. Pupils spread paint around the table using various tools including their hands, foam and pieces of card. The next stage was to remove some of the paint to create patterns. Finally a piece of card was placed on the paint and print was taken. Through the day pupils over printed onto dry prints that had been produced earlier in the day.
Pupils had great fun experimenting with the paint and the final prints look fantastic!
