Westfield has two school councils – one for the primary phase and one for the secondary. Democratically elected, our pupil councillors meet each week in order to make their views known on all school matters that affect them. Discussions range across such subjects as lunchtime menus, school uniform and arrangements for breaks and playtimes. The Councils are also very involved in charitable fundraising and the organisation of school activities.
All pupils are asked their views on a wide range of school issues each year in the Pupil Questionnaire. The outcomes are published and are used to inform planning for the future at Westfield.
