Welcome to Westfield!
Message from the Headteacher
'We know that you will find our site interesting, informative and useful. We hope that you will find it easy to access and a source of enjoyment. Please let us know if there are parts of our web-site which you would like to see improved.
You will also find a wealth of links to educational sites on the Internet which we believe you may find helpful. The world-wide web is one of the key resources which we use on a daily basis at Westfield in order to prepare our pupils for their future.'

Westfield is a very special school indeed. Westfield prides itself on its warm, happy atmosphere – one which all visitors to the school remark upon. Each child at Westfield receives a personalised educational programme, which is tailored to meet his or her individual needs.
Westfield is successful and unique because:
we have small, well-staffed classes
we have a happy, “family” atmosphere
we focus on the individual needs of each pupil
our prime aim is to raise each pupil’s self-confidence and self-esteem
we have developed a culture focussed on learning, for both pupils and staff
we have an expert, experienced and dedicated team of staff who have high aspirations
we have regular and routine contact with Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language, Physio, Occupational and other Therapists, Health professionals, colleagues from Health and Social Care, Connexions, other professionals and local industry (for work experience etc.)
Westfield is an open school and anyone is welcome to visit us at any time. Everyone at Westfield looks forward to meeting you.
We hope you enjoy your visit to our website and that you will pop back to visit us again. Our website is updated regularly. Bye!
